TEXAS KING Restaurant & Meat | Our Story

More Than a Restaurant
Texas King started with a simple idea: put the best halal meat in Irving under one roof with a kitchen that knows what to do with it. What grew from that is a place the community calls its own.
The Butcher Counter Comes First
It starts at the meat case — fresh zabiha halal cuts, sourced with care, displayed with pride. The restaurant and the market are the same idea expressed two ways.
Cooking Rooted in Tradition
The menu draws from generations of Pakistani and South Asian cooking — slow-cooked karahi, tandoor-fired kebabs, fragrant biryani layered with whole spices. This is food that takes time, and you can taste the difference.
A Gathering Place
Families have been coming here after Friday prayers for years — for everyday meals, Nikaah ceremonies, and wedding receptions. The trust that brings a community back for life's biggest moments isn't earned easily.
Irving Is Home
Belt Line Road is one of DFW's most culturally layered corridors, and Texas King belongs to it completely. We do what we do with care, consistency, and heart.
